If your computer has a soundcard with a line-in and/or microphone-in and
preferably line-out, there's a tuner program available for different platform
at http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/edit/win.html. I think this is the Windows 3.1
version but you can move to other platforms from this site.
The program for Windows 3.1 is not large but features the pitch of the note
being played into the soundcard as well as the + or - cents it is off pitch. There's
also a spectrum graph and a reference tone as well as custom settings.
The spectrum graph is something one does not find on handheld tuners.
The program is shareware but appears to be fully functional in the demo.
