My family & I are forced into using up a bunch of
frequent flier miles, so my wife selected Paris as a
destination to burn up the mileage. We'll be going to
Paris late November/early December (a 2 week stay).

I'm looking for reasonably-priced accomodations;
we'll have 2 adults & 2 children (the eldest child
isn't going with us this time). Looking through the
Internet for accomodations shows a fair number of
such places, but they want cash in advance - and I fear
sending money to some place and then finding out that
it's a dive.

Any recommendations? Since many of you are students,
professors, and professionals, I *know* that you're
not staying at those 5-star hotels!
