Getting some facts straight; DeLancie was the assistant principal in Philly,
not the 2nd oboe player. Non-principal winds simply did not perform concertos
at that time. Principal players did so rarely at best. Tabuteau never
performed the Strauss at all. It was premiered in Europe.
