Susan,
it's not necessarily AOL or any particular service - it happens
to me and I'm my own e-mail servicer! It has everything to do
with what route mail takes, and the route is non-deterministic
(it depends on what machines are up and what machines are down and network loading -
If you can predict that then will you be my stockbroker ? ^)
