But you going to AOL isn't the only change -- remember that the list
went from being run by one of those colossal listserv engines
(primarily over bitnet) to being run by Majordomo (almost exclusively
over the internet).

I've also been experiencing messages out of order (I had a pair
today). Given the nature of internet mailers, this doesn't surprise
me: what does surprise me is how seldom it _used_ to happen in the old
listserv days.
