I must concur. Buffet had an expo of clarinets at McGill and the
greenline was one of them, and the one they had there was by far the
best R-13 out of the entire group. I was very surprised, because I
tried it with the attitude of it being a "plastic, low calibre
instrument" and if I was going to buy a clarinet at the time, I would
certainly have taken the greenline. However, in reality whether I'd
choose a greenline over a (complete grained) wood one still remains a
question. For anyone who's never tried one, you should, because like I
was, you will probably be impressed.
