Lou Polcari mused:

Actually, the whole Leblanc line seems just about as heavy as the
Greenline R13. One of these days (soon), I'll go into Robert Gilbert
(Los Angeles) with my wife's Leblanc Opus and an accurate postage scale.
There I will perform a very scientific analysis of the comparative
weights of Grenadilla vs. composite vs. Opus clarinets, using control
group variables, and random sampling (sure!). I will report back my
astutue findings to the group. The Greenline seems a couple of ounces
heavier, but it didn't bother me when I played them. Play the tenor sax
for a while. He ain't heavy, man, that's my sax!
