Amy,
I bought a "mouthpiece brush" (actually a two-inch piece of wire
covered with what look like fine strings; the ends of the wire are capped
with rubber so they won't scratch the mouthpiece), and I just gently wipe
out the inside of the mouthpiece with it when I'm finished playing. I
think it ran about $3 in a retail music store.
