If this isn't correct - it's the heck of a guess... The single cut reeds
are like the regular Vandoren reeds with some af the bark still left after
the reed is French cut. (down where the window of the mouthpiece starts).
Double cut would be like the Vandoren V-12's where that wood is removed.
Again - It's only my guess, so maybe I'm right, maybe not......

Klarinetters,

Someone asked me about the difference between "French" or single-cut
reeds, and double cut. While I had an idea, can anyone fill out what the
difference is?
