Yes - at times any/all reed work seems futile - but sanding/curing does
provide big advangates over the long haul

I'd not wish tedium on anyone - but some once-upon-a-time I wrote out
a full summary on selecting/curing/fine-tuning reeds - for the students
here - based on the techniques of Stan Hasty at Eastman - the essay is
long, addressing the saxophone in particular - but the issue is the same.
