I have a brush that I use in my mouthpiece. I use that instead of a swab.
Does that cause the same damage that swabbing supposedly does?
Also, once every couple of months, I put my mouthpiece in a solution of
water and hydrogen peroxide (small amount). If you have all that gunk in
your mouthpiece, it will float to the top after a while. The bad thing
about this method is that for a day or so the mouthpiece smells and
tastes bad! But it works.
