For those of you using any Microsoft Mail program...

Please goto the following URL
http://www.microsoft.com/outlook/documents/imep.htm and download
the Internet Mail Enhancement patch. This fixes many errors and
gives you many many more options to choose from. The critical
choice is located under...

Tools/Options/Internet E-Mail

Here it gives you a choice of which character set to use when
sending messages, the one you should choose is US ASCII. The
default is ISO-8859. This is Microsoft's Rich Text Enchanced
character set and it is NOT viewable by anyone not using a
Microsoft E-mail program. In choosing US ASCII you are choosing
the character set that is common for use with all email editors
and viewers.

The other option I recommend you check out is the new line wrap
feature. You not have the option to choose the number of
characters per line, thus delineating where the lines will wrap
to the next line of text. The common setting is 72 characters
per line (Mark, correct if I'm wrong). This is the smallest
viewable area as determined by UNIX email editors such as ELM,
Pine, and Pico. I currently have mine set to 65 just to make
sure that everything is viewable by all.

I've tested this with Mark Charette and so far everything is
working just peachy. :) Hope this helps and good luck!!
