Dave,
The thumbrest on my Selmer is adjustable, and I already
did that a while back (didn't even have to call a competent
repair person :) . It helped somewhat, but not enough.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. I have small hands
(to go with my stature) - this may have something to do
with my problem.
