The Army. Lots of good players are in Army bands all over the
world. If you are very, very, very good, you could try for the
Marine Band, the West Point Band, the Air Force Academy Band, etc.
But you have a life of about 20 years unless you get promoted.
Otherwise, you are out if you don't make a certain grade or rank
after 20 years.

You have medical coverage, a not unreasonable salary, a not unpleasant
life, and a chance to play the clarinet.
