My point about R-13's being RELATIVELY inexpensive was
a comparison to other woodwind instruments that require
similar toolings and operations to produce.
I think it is irrelevent to compare Clarinets to string
instruments. String instruments have become highly inflated
in valuse due to the investment/antique value that can be
assigned to them.
