I used to call my old Bundy tenor sax "Bertha" (short for "Bertha D.
Blues"). But when I replaced it with a Yamaha, the name just didn't fit.
But I have since picked up an old King Zephyr bari sax, and the name works
with that one again. Oddly, none of my 18 other instruments is named!

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
