The following concerts by my wind quintet may be of interest to list
members in the eastern Massachusetts area. The Quintet by John Harbison
is an especially interesting and challenging work.

Arcadian Winds (Matthew Doherty, flute; Jane Harrison, oboe; Mark Miller,
clarinet; John Aubrey, horn; Janet Underhill, bassoon) will present two
concerts in the coming weeks: Saturday, September 20 at Dudley House at
Harvard University (8PM), and Monday, September 22 at the Ellison Center
for the Arts (South Shore Conservatory), Duxbury, Massachusetts (8PM)

The program for both concerts is the same:

Five Piano Preludes Alexander Scriabin (arr. Miller)

Decem Inventiones Theodore Antoniou (9/20 will be the Boston
premiere)

Quintet for Winds John Harbison

Sextet Ludwig Thuille

Guest pianist for the Thuille will be Jennifer Elowsky

Tickets will be $10 general admission, $5 for Harvard students.
TIckets can be purchased by phone from the Sanders Theatre Box Office,
496-2222 / 495-1642 (TTY/TTD). Tickets may be purchased in person at the
door or through the Sanders Theatre Box Office at Memorial Hall, Harvard
University; or the Holyoke Centre Box Office at the Holyoke Centre,
