I Have a few of these mouthpieces, and have spent many fun afternoons with
Everet Matson having refacing work done. He did a bang up job and these
mouthpieces. The reason he liked to work on these is He liked the material,
and the fact that he thought there was more rubber on the inside of the
mouthpiece so there was some room to work. Whats really fun is to find old
cheap HS*,C* ect send them to different refacers and see what you end up
with. I still thing my Matson refaced C*s for Bass clarinet and Basset horn
are the best thing I've ever used on these horns.
