Again I say, if the manufacturers are putting out defective merchandise we
should stop buying from them. And check to make sure that opened-up
feeling did not emanate from your wallet :-).

Customization is always the customer's option. And while I imagine you
play a good deal more than I do, I simply cannot imagine ever wearing out
an instrument. (Yes, I know it can be done, but I can't imagine me doing
it.) Let me know the next time you want to throw away a worn-out instrument.
