You make a very good point!!! However, I recommend it to my students, I
personally have it done right away - for the very reason you mention.
Students who purchase one for the first time anyway, usually don't have
the money to spend on it twice if it cracks during the warranty period.
This has happened often enough that I now recommend a year wait.
