Bill,
Yes it would be a problem if a brand new instrument played incorrectly
but everyone has a standard that they like to have their horn at. In my
case, I have it worked on because I prefer a much lighter key action
than what the factory has installed. So if people do have them worked
on, it could be for that reason.
