I still say that if instruments are routinely leaving the factory requiring
additional work to meet their own design specifications, we should actively
seek a new supplier with higher quality standards. As to whether the extra
service is worth the $325, that is for the individual to decide. I just
abhor the very thought that it might be necessary to make a brand new horn
play correctly. If it is, it is highway robbery -- not on the part of the
repairman, but by the manufacturer who sold us a bill of goods in the first
place.
