Everyone should have an opinion....but it should be based on some kind of
experience or knowledge. To simply state that one has an opinion and
can't believe what another is saying....or that it can't be worthwhile
is a definite slap in the face. While I am close to having had enough of
the instrument repair/new instrument service issue, it is important for me
to say to the listserv that what I have been talking about is based on
many private students' experiences as well as my own professional playing.
I get fairly heated when someone tells me that all of that means nothing -
especially when they haven't had the experience themselves.

Perhaps the folks who read the listserv can see all of that anyway and I
just should back off. Either way....my apologies to Bill for my
comments...he is entitled to his opinion. And my apologies to the
listserv for getting "heated".
