Do I agree! I have just bought a Bass Clarinet to low C, and
reading those extra ledger lines on the treble clef is not easy!

On an allied subject, does anyone know of any published exercises to
practice the new fingering (or should that be thumbing?) for the
extended range. I am about to write out some for myself, but I could
save myself some time here.
