I think I may have a first. In my Jahrbuch paper, I shall credit an entire
electronic mailing list and I believe that making such a technical reference
has never happened in Mozart research before. But I am going to do it.
Frankly, I am not sure that thanking an electronic list in print in a
scholarly journal has any precedent anywhere. So it is good that the first
time it happensI need some help please will be in conjunction with serious
clarinet research.

I want to tell everyone on the Klarinet list that I have seen the footnote
(number 11) to be published in "the Mozart Jahrbuch" as part of Dan Leeson's
and Bob Levin's paper on "Mozart's Deliberate Use of Incorrect Key Signatures
for Clarinets," ...

and that credit is given by them to the Internet electronic mailing list
known as "KLARINET" for helpful responses. This is indeed an unusual and
perhaps unique credit, appearing in a very fine article to be published in an
excellent scholarly journal in December.

Thank you, Dan and Bob Levin.
