Dear Michael.

Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger: (1839-1901)
Born in Vaduz, Liechtenstein.
Professor of organ and composition at the Conservatory of music in Munich
The Sonata for Clarinet and Piano op 105a was first published 1n 1893.
Three movments
1. Allegro non troppo (ca 9:30
2. Andante molto (ca 5:00)
3. Non troppo allegro (ca 9:00)

This Sonata is seldom heard, but I think it deserves a place alongside the
great romantic sonatas of the late 19th century.
Two modern editions are available:
Schott KLB 8 (1971)
Amadeus BP 455 (1985)
and they are almost identical.
This is a nice piece, but not easy to play, and you need a good pianist.

Hope this helps.
