I'm not Dr. Nelson but I'll add a bit of information that I do
know:

I checked both our local PBS station and wrote to PBS about
"The Tree of Music" and have received replies from both stating
the tape is unavailable to the public. I did not ask about the
availability for educational institutions.

You may be able to find more information
from http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/jeharr/chuwa.htm,
the entry page into the Blackwook Conservation Project.

As a bit of trivia, the clarinet pictured at
http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/4386/music.html, one
of the pages within the African Blackwood Conservation Project
is a Buffet Greenline. I know - it's a "borrowed" copy of the
clarinet picture that I scanned and edited for my Clarinet Info
Pages. The accidental divot on the mouthpiece gives it away :)
