I have played tenor sax reeds on my bass before, they help with projection.
It may seem as if they are better, but they are not. Play tenor sax reeds
once you have a good idea what you are doing, but only for a couple of
months. Then go back to playing bass clarinet reeds, you will notice an
amazing difference.
