I hope not, Dan, I certainly hope not. There is a word for that, isn't
there?

It calls to mind a famous story. At the moment, I can't remember whether
this was supposed to be Winston Churchill, or George Bernard Shaw, or
someone else. But, he is supposed to have said at party to an attractive
woman, "Would you go to bed with me for one million dollars?" To which
she replied, "Well, yes, I think I probably would." Then he asked, "Would
you go to bed with me for ten dollars." "Of course not," she haughtily
replied, "What do you think I am?" The reply was, "We've already
established that, now we're just haggling over the price!"

My price for playing in the Lawrence Welk band would be somewhere between
ten dollars and one million dollars, but I'm sure it would be a lot closer
to the latter figure.
