When I came back from vacation this summer and opened my clarinet case, I
discovered that a white film had accumulated on the keys and rods of the
clarinet. It wiped off easily and hasn't appeared again, but I'm still
not sure what it was or whether it might have any adverse effects on the
clarinet. Does anyone know anything about this?
