Subj: Bass Reeds, and Unrelated Bach

If were going into the Jazz reed (V-16)direction for Bass Clarinet, then a
really good, consistent reed to try would be the Rico Jazz Select Filed (as
in filed, or un filed cut) They come in #2, 3, or 4- Soft, medium or hard
in each of the respective numbers/strengths. Very good cane.

Ps. a posting that I had copied. and sent to myself about a Bach Sonata
(from Flute list) for Flute was mistakenly sent to the list, and not to
myself (to save an article from a digest, I copy it, and send it to
myself). So if you read that one and wondered "what does that have to do
with Clarinet", youre right!

Try the V16 Vandoren reeds for tenor sax. It works better then reeds
made for bass clarinets.
