I use that concerto a lot also. I got mine in Holland. The publishing date
is 1953, but that is only the original date for that edition. It is the #11
Concerto of Carl (Karl) ((music has Karl, CD has Carl)) son of Johann.
Carl also wrote the generic #3 that many 8th graders hack through...(right
before they attempt the Weber (von;) Concertino. I have a CD of Sabine
Meyer (EMI 7 54842 2)that is very good of that work. It's a great piece -
shouldn't be obscure.

I think the concerto that you are looking for is Concerto in E Flat
Major, published in 1953 by musikverlag Hans sikoski in hamburg. It is
their ARS INSTRUMENTALIS series. I have the music in front of me as I
write.
I also have a recording of it - on a primitive large disc we used to
call LP records - recorded by Hans Rudoph Stalder on Harmonia Mundi
VMS 812.

This concerto is one of the finest by either of the Stamitzes. It is
melodic and really very beatiful. The last movement is in 6/8, marked
Rondo alla Scherzo and the second movement is a particularly beautiful
ARIA.

I have used it quite frequently in teaching here in New Zealand.
