Well, Tony Pay of the UK is on this list and he has recorded
the work on a basset clarinet. He also has performed the work
a number of times on basset clarinet, both contemporary and
original instrument. It is done very often on a basset
clarinet. 50 years ago nobody ever heard of the instrument. Today
you can buy them off the shelf, though only in A.
