Good anecdote! Sounds like something I blamed my husband for on our
first date, but we won't go into that now.
You must have read my mind. I was going to suggest some anecdotes
(antidotes, maybe) for the end of summer. I'm sure many of you out there
in ListLand have 'em and can tell 'em. Perhaps the obstinate conductor,
the opera singer who can't read music or is temperamental, the client of
the repair shop who just makes you want to tear your hair out, the band
director who doesn't have a clue, etc. Whether funny or not, the rest of
us who don't do these things on a regular basis (me) would like to hear
what it's like from people who do (you).
This anecdote was a great start!
