Hi - yeah well - I've played a R-13 for the last 15 years and after h=
earing so much about the Leblanc Concerto I decided to give it a try. =
I really like the one I chose and expect it to last me. The key moti=
on on it is so nice ( Of course I will admit that my Buffet is 40 year=
s old -so it's probably earned a rest). I sat down and did a very deta=
iled comparison between my Buffet and 2 Leblanc Concertos. The Concer=
to I chose was the only of the three that I liked all round. I was re=
ally surprised at the difference between the 2 Concertos. One had the=
nice dark flexible sound that I was wanting (the one I chose) yet the=
other really had a loud, flat, sound. (Like someone playing on a much=
too soft reed)
