The old 10-G's were far superior to what came out only 10 years later. It
is my understanding that the new 10-G's have been retooled to match the
ones like you purchased.....DON'T SELL THEM...THEY ARE WONDERFUL! David
Shifrin was playing on his Buffets when I studied with him in the
1980's....and he still does. The 1966 R-13 would not play as well as the
10-G you described - that seems certain.
