Nick - =

You must have misunderstood as there is no $500 shipping charge.

When instruments are taken out on approval we charge a deposit
amounting to 1/2 the price of the instrument. If the instrument
is returned & not purchased we refund your deposit, however we =

charge you for the shipping cost plus a $10 return fee. =

Do you have our current catalog? The approval policy is clearly
spelled out there. Let me know if you need a catalog. =

Please call us at 800-762-1116 if you have any more questions. =

It is a bit steep, but that is what she had said to me. I did also talk=
=

to Fred and he said it was about that steep too. I never could figure out=
=

why a shipping charge could be that expensive, I maybe figured only about=
=

$100 or less. I might have misunderstood something, but that is what they=
=

clearly told me. I would like to know why, but I will continue to search =

around my area. I am not in a hurry, still have a couple places to =

search for a couple of B- flat bass clarinets, professional :) =
