My original "geez" comment was in reaction to the continued reaction to a
posting many days ago. The discussion was with regard to paying somebody
a fee of $325 to give a new R-13 clarinet new instrument service. The
person continue to doubt the necessity of such a service, even though, not
only has he never had it done (so therefore the opinion is suspect), it
was pointed out that the major professionals in the nation (actually
world!) have it done to their instruments. One of his postings talked
about the service being important for professional players....but,
frankly, many of the comments here are designed for answers from
professional players! It is one thing to ask for an opinion and disagree,
it is an entirely different thing to continue to support an opinion that
is based on speculation!

The other comments were out of boredom! But...they were also useful in
that they caused more of the same kind of responses.....with a bit of
humor thrown in (I see your wink at the top!).

Thanks for the question.....hope I have answered it? I fully expect,
unfortunately, that my comments here will cause the person to begin
attacking again *sigh*....but, such is life!!
