Hi Matt, just thought i'd tell you about a ligature that is now being made
by Dan Daily (woodwind doubler living in Taos, New Mexico) that is velcro
attached to elastic. It seems to allow maximum vibration of the reed and
is adjustable enough to fit clarinet, bass clarinet, alto or tenor sax
mouthpieces. I can really hear a difference on bass, but am still partial
to my Eddie Daniels ligature for clarinet. If anyone is interested feel
