Well, I would take it to your local music store and have them look at
it. Even if they don't do any work, you could still get an estimate.
Here in Punta Gorda, we are very fortuneate to have some great repairmen
in town. I think they would do just as good a job, if not better, than
sending to away some where. The prices are pretty reasonable too.

Depending on where you live, you may be better off to send it away, but
I would check out the prices in town first.
