By an amazing(?) coincidence, the formula for cork grease recently
posted
"...all you need are two ingredients - vaseline and parafin wax
(purchased at any grocery store). Mix both in a pan with the burner set
on low heat..."
happens to be exactly what certain microbiologists have been using for
decades (never mind for what - you wouldn't want to know) and known as
Vaspar (for obvious reasons). GT Gallant - is there something more you
haven't told us about where you got this idea?
Actually, I believe there are more complicated formulas for many
commercial cork greases than this. Most wouldn't be very good for
either you or your dog to eat in more than minute, accidental amounts.
