Yep. Kinda strange being one of the few old farts there but, nevertheless, I
am very happy to have made the move.

Glad to know that I'm not alone!

Actually, now that you ask, I begin my _second_ year this fall, 96-97 being
my first. I am studying with David Krakauer who, despite his reputation for
klezmer and my questionable tolerance of it, I find an extraordinarily
knowledgeable and inspiring _classical_ teacher. (Perhaps it is unfair for me
even to be surprised.)

Also teaching clarinet at Mannes (in response to Dan Leeson's Q) are Ricardo
Morales and, on occasion, Peter Simenauer. Others are listed, and I'd have to
look them up, but their studios are currently empty.
