I'd imagine they're on par for difficulty, but I've only ever played a
French horn... and my teacher told me I shouldn't play it 'cause it'll mess
up my clarinet (And, person that I am, I set out to play the thing every
time I had a spare and nothing more pressing to do.)

I have to admit, I really do love playing the horn. It's so much easier to
clear a room with that than it was with my clarinet. :)
