Regarding the Bonade ligatures tendency to slip on the mouthpiece - I
use a bonade inverted. To protect the mouthpiece from the edges of
the ligature as well as prevent slipping, I took a clear mouthpiece
patch, cut it into strips, and put the strips on the inside of the
ligature under the screws. They hold up really well and I have no
problem with slippage.
