Just for your information, and anyone who cares, we played the same
movement of Concerto de Aranjues, but be a trumpet solo, except for the
last game, when I played that as a miked clarinet solo, and then returned
to flugal marching. In the crowd, that was the biggest ting in our show
which was of a Spanish theme. My favorite part was at the end solo when
the entire band stood in a big line on the front hash and crossed right
foot over their left foot, and put their left hand on their hip (except
for the woodwinds and tubas) a la Cadets of Bergen County. Just wanted
to share that.
