Okay, here goes:

The case shell is a DEG brand shell which is wood covered with vinyl with=
a
combination lock (three numbers for each of two latches), metal edge
protectors, and measures 19 x 17 x 5". =20

The interior was custom designed and crafted by me, and is absolutely
fantastic (if I do say so myself!). The layout is great, with all of the
joints separate, snug, and facing the same direction (a small detail ther=
e,
but I hate when the lower joint goes one way and the upper joint goes
another=85) with the B-flat pieces in the front, the A in the middle, and=
the
E-flat in the back. Not including the E-flat, there=92s room for three b=
arrels
and one mouthpiece, and a very roomy junk compartment running the length =
of
the case, approximately 2 x 19". There=92s also a large interior music
compartment. The upholstery is done in a burgundy red, beautiful all cot=
ton
upholstery velvet. =20

The case cover is a custom sized Altieri backpack cover. If you know
Altieri, you know that it=92s sturdy, tough, and has a zipper music compa=
rtment
on one side and backpack straps on the other. =20

The case and cover have almost exactly one year=92s wear, so there=92s a =
little
bit of wear on the cover edges, and some cork grease in the inserts, as w=
ould
be expected. =20

What else=85? It=92s very well insulated with styrofoam under the joints=
and
there=92s also a nice edge guard, so cold air can=92t get in through the =
edges
when it@-----. =20
