Currently residing in central Michigan. Was in Rome, NY from '75-'83 in
the Air Force. (Originally from southern Illinois.) Not all clarinets
crack. And the longer you have one that doesn't, the better the chances it
won't. The constant conditions should help, but you probably should keep
the bore oiled with it that dry. Try some of that 10W-A440 stuff I've
heard about. :-)
