I would give a slight edge to the Yamaha. For some time Yamaha was making
the Vito line for Leblanc, and it is basically the same instrument. I am
using the Yamaha mouthpiece on my Noblet bass clarinet now (I did a playoff
between it and a Vandoren B-45 and, fortunately for my wallet, the Yammy
won). The Selmer (formerly Bundy) ones are perfectly OK, too. The latest
1430P to come into our store had a different neck from earlier ones. It
had a modified angle, like the ones advertised by Bay. I see their point
about it being an angle closer to that of the soprano clarinet, but I've
never found that to be a problem.

If you want, I can also provide bids on both.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
