If I may respond to lola-jane@-----.nets comment, I think the reason
Woodwinds are marched is because in a marching show there is supposed to
be some music, and Brass instruments just don't make music!! I think it
is perfectly relavent to march a Bass Clarinet, it helps in the
establishment of the sonority of the group! Although it may not sound
like concert quality, it serves it purpose!
