Oh oh.... I use Vandoorn 2 or even 2 1/2 to start! (age also around 10)! The problem I (and I repeat: I) have
with Rico reeds that they wear out so quick...

So true! When your goal (and the goal of the student) is to produce somthing, it will cost somthing!
